About Me

If you’re reading this, you probably already know who I am. But if you don’t, here are some things to know about me:

• I live in Hong Kong
• but I grew up in Northern California where the rest of my family still lives
• I’m a big homebody and I’m really close to my family
• In fact, I lived with my parents until I was 23 (don’t laugh!)
• at which point I moved in with my then-boyfriend, now-husband, Mark
• who’s from Texas
• In the eight years that I’ve known Mark, I’ve had to move at least eight times
• I hate moving and even after eight moves I’m still really bad at packing
• We have one son named Noah
• Noah is one of the best things that’s ever happened to me (and Mark)
• I used to work but now I’m a stay at home mom
• Besides, I don’t have a work visa here in HK so I couldn’t work (legally) even if I wanted to
• We moved to HK January 2007 for Mark’s job
• We have no idea how long we’re staying out here
• We love HK but I miss my family like crazy
• and Target™
• and Costco™
• and Trader Joe’s™

So that’s me in a nutshell. You’ll probably figure out the rest on your own.
